The Child Development Centre provides quality care for children from 6 months to 5 years of age while you pursue your education at the Morden Adult Education Centre. Care is delivered by trained staff who are committed to ongoing professional development, ensuring a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for every child.

A typical day in the CDC includes a balance of free play, art, music, and early literacy experiences, primarily designed for children ages 2–5. Programming is guided by children’s interests and developmental needs, with themes such as family, feelings, transportation, dinosaurs, animals, and the changing seasons.

Children also benefit from regular outdoor play in our outdoor classroom and playground, where they can explore, be active, and connect with nature. In addition, we provide opportunities for community-based learning through field trips around town, including visits to places such as the fire hall, police station, and the local dinosaur museum.

A nutritious snack is provided in both the morning and afternoon to support healthy growth and development.
